Vet et Nous is a multidisciplinary team composed of veterinarian both generalists and specialists operating at high rank whose mission is to take care of client’s pets as if they were our own. Our teams are split in 3 emergency and reference centres open 24/7 and several general practice hospitals and clinics in the greater Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean and Quebec region.

Under the responsibility of the hospital manager, you manage the reception team according to the company's values. You ensure that the customer service provided by your team is professional and of high quality at all times. You also offer your support and you work in collaboration with the hospital manager.

Main functions :

Reception/ ATSA

  • Manage the reception and ATSA team (supervision, training/coaching, evaluation, recognition, etc.);
  • Ensure sufficient presence at reception and with ATSAs to support the entire team;
  • Ensure that clinic protocols and procedures are followed by the reception and ATSA team;
  • Develop and implement protocols to improve the efficiency and quality of customer service;
  • Ensure that team members meet the highest standards of customer service;
  • Handle first-level complaints from dissatisfied customers and follow up with manager as required or in more specific cases;
  • Ensure good communication between the various hospital departments;
  • Participate in the staffing process (recruitment, induction, integration, etc.);
  • Participate in the team's human resources development (talent management, skills development, etc.);
  • Ensure the implementation and follow-up of performance management and disciplinary processes (as required);
  • Plan and lead various meetings with reception and ATSA employees;
  • Ensure the implementation of a comprehensive training program and promote ongoing training;
  • Manage conflicts and mobilize various groups;
  • Any other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in French
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in the veterinary and/or related field (an asset);
  • A strong commitment to professional and respectful customer service;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Autonomous and versatile;
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills;
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively;
  • Ability to exercise discretion
